So we'll go no more a roveing.

As some of you may know we have had a four year battle with Sidney and his mischievous nature resulting in several 'incidents', some amusing and some not so funny (stealing and swallowing a whole sausage from the grill pan springs to mind!). All in all he was a pretty boisterous character with lots of energy and despite being hard work we continued to believe that 'one day' he would mellow out. Unfortunately last Autumn David suffered a nasty bite from our dear friend and this Spring we decided to enrol him into dog training school in Surrey. Although he learned some manners during his 3 week stint upon his return he had decided he would rather not take orders from us anymore and I also received a bite.

We were very shocked and upset and have had to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome him for Ruby's sake. The school came to collect him from the kennels today and I went along to say cheerio but as you can see he was more interested in the biscuit! So he was reunited with his dog trainer Hannah (as pictured) whom he loves and more importantly respects! I will keep you updated on his progress until he is successfully rehomed but in the meantime we have to face the sad fact that we'll go no more a roveing....

Happy Birthday Grandad!

It was Grandad Lyons Birthday last Sunday so we all congregated in the mist filled garden for a barbecue?!?
