Devon Holiday Part 2!

Amongst other things we went to Salcombe, Dartmoor and Totnes for various days out. David and I managed to have a quiet drink whilst Ruby was taken care of by the Grandparents! Ruby also enjoyed bathing in the washing up bowl and falling asleep on the kitchen table!

Our Holiday in Devon!

Ruby enjoyed her first holiday in Devon last week when we drove down to Dartmouth to spend a week in a holiday cottage near the Naval College. We had a lot fun and Ruby had a lot of 'firsts' including a boat trip and trying baby porridge!

Charlies Birthday Party!

Ruby received an invitation to her first social engagement in the form of Charlies Birthday Party! Charlie is now officially 5 years old and celebrated in style at 'Let Off Steam' in Sheringham (kind of like It's a Knockout!). Ruby loved all the noise and colours but wasn't so keen on her party dress getting in the way of some serious play! When it all got too much Uncle Tim was on hand for a big hug!

First Barby of the Year.

May bank holiday officially starts BBQ season & the first one was held at chez o'shea. A real kid fest ensued Ruby, Jack, Charlie, Emily,Oliver,Evie,Zoe,Tim & David. Jack had his police whistle and made sure proceedings followed an orderly fashion. A new drinking game was also discovered. Push the babies round the gardern collecting a glass of wine on each complete lap. The ladies all sat around the kitchen table and set the world to rights. All in all a very enjoyable day was had by all!

Phew what a scorcer!

Last weekend we went to the Norfolk Country Fair at the Showground and the temperatures soared! We swelled the ranks of the green welly brigade but looked a bit out of place without a well trained gundog trotting alongside us! There were lots of country pursuits on display (no fox hunting) but we most enjoyed the falconry well Tim the bird man Oshea did!
